Hi, I'm Terris. I'm a web designer in Singapore, and I write the WordPress code for my sites myself.

Get WordPress development in Singapore that adds what's missing

I build custom WordPress themes and features, connect WordPress to the tools you use, and fix sites that slowed down or broke. Work on a site I didn't build starts at SGD 2,500, and I look at your plugins first, because what's already installed decides whether the job is small or a rebuild.

What WordPress development with me covers

WordPress development with me covers the code beneath the design: custom themes, custom post types and fields, custom features and plugins, integrations with your payment, booking or accounting tools, and speed and security fixes. On a site I didn't build, I start with your plugin list.

  • Custom themes built for your design
  • Custom post types and fields for your content
  • Features and plugins built for your site
  • Integrations: payments, bookings, CRM, accounting
  • Speed and security fixes
  • Clean handover, so another developer could take over

How much does a WordPress developer cost in Singapore?

Custom work on a WordPress site I didn't build starts at SGD 2,500, sized in hours once I've seen your plugins. A new WordPress site you edit yourself is my Growth package, from SGD 7,500. Either way you get one fixed number before I start.

How I take on WordPress development

  1. Look at the site first

Your theme, your plugins and your hosting. What's already installed decides whether a feature is a small job or a rebuild.

  2. Agree the scope

What gets built, how it should behave and what's out of scope, as one fixed number with any extras listed separately.

  3. Build it on a copy

I work on a staging copy of your site, never the live one, so nothing breaks while the work is in progress.

  4. Test it properly

On phones and desktops, with your real content, and with the plugins it has to live alongside.

  5. Go live and hand over

The change goes live, and you get notes on what was built, so you or another developer can maintain it.

Questions about WordPress development

How much does a WordPress developer cost in Singapore?

With me, custom work on a WordPress site I didn't build starts at SGD 2,500, sized in hours once I've seen your plugins. A new WordPress site is my Growth package, from SGD 7,500.

WordPress or a custom-coded website: which is better?

WordPress suits sites you want to edit yourself, with a blog or a shop. A custom-coded site can be faster and simpler to run when the content rarely changes, or when you need something WordPress does awkwardly. I build both and will say which fits.

What's the difference between a WordPress developer and a designer?

A designer decides how the site looks and works for visitors. A developer writes the code: themes, features, integrations and fixes. I do both, so the design doesn't get lost on its way into the build.

Can WordPress handle a high-traffic website?

Yes, with good hosting, caching and lean code. Slow WordPress sites are usually slow because of heavy themes and too many plugins, not because of WordPress itself.

How do I take PayNow on a WordPress site?

Through a payment gateway that supports it. Stripe and HitPay both take PayNow in Singapore and connect to WooCommerce. Which one suits depends on the other methods your customers want.

Do I need a custom WordPress theme or can I use a template?

A template is fine for a quick start. A custom theme is lighter and faster, looks like your business rather than thousands of others, and has no features you don't use slowing it down.

Can you fix a WordPress site someone else built?

Yes. I look at the theme, plugins and hosting first, then quote the fix as one number. Sometimes the honest answer is that rebuilding costs less than repairing, and I'll say so.

Can WordPress handle e-commerce in Singapore?

Yes, with WooCommerce. It takes PayNow, cards and the wallets Singapore shoppers use through gateways like Stripe and HitPay, and handles GST, delivery options and stock.
