Find me on

Hi, I'm Terris. I'm a web designer in Singapore, full-time since 2018, and I write the code for everything I design.

Get web development in Singapore on code you own

I build websites, online shops, web apps and the working parts a template can't do, on WordPress, Astro or Next.js. I write every line myself, you deal with me from the first message to launch, and what I build is yours to keep, with no lock-in contract.

What does web development with me cover?

Web development is writing the code that makes a site work: the pages, the forms, the shop, the logins and the links to other systems. With me that means a whole new website, an online shop, a feature added to a site you already have, or a web application with its own database, each at a fixed price.

  • A whole website

Designed, written and built from scratch, from SGD 2,535. The packages compare what each size includes.

    Web design
  • An online shop

A catalogue, cart and payments with PayNow and cards, added to a site from SGD 3,540 or built into Premium.

    Online shops
  • A feature on the site you have

A booking flow, a login-gated form, an integration or a bot, from SGD 2,530. I read what your site already runs before I quote.

    WordPress development
  • A web application

Anything with a login, a dashboard, roles or a database behind it, from SGD 12,140.

    Custom web applications
  • A large shop or marketplace

Multi-vendor stores, subscriptions, deposits and memberships, from SGD 15,180.

    E-commerce development
  • Fixes, speed and upkeep

A broken checkout or a form that stopped sending, fixed from SGD 850, or a monthly retainer that keeps the site updated, backed up and secure.

Which platform will my site be built on?

I pick the platform for the job, not the other way round. WordPress when you'll edit often or need a plugin that already does the job well, Astro when speed and search matter most, and Next.js with a headless CMS when the site needs app-like logic behind an editor your team already knows.

The platforms I build on and when I use each one
Platform I use it when You edit it with Built with it
WordPress You'll edit pages and posts often, or the job needs WooCommerce or a plugin that already does it well The WordPress dashboard Citri Mobile: 16,000+ pages from custom templates
Astro Speed and search matter most and the site is mostly pages: services, projects, guides A headless CMS, from the Growth package up MET Interior: 176 pages, with a cost calculator and site search built in
Next.js The site needs app-like logic, live demos or content pulled from another system A headless CMS such as WordPress Ingleside: menus and events edited in headless WordPress

Not sure which suits you? Tell me what the site has to do and who will edit it, and I'll say which and why before I quote. Astro vs Next.js vs WordPress

How a web development job runs

You tell me what the site has to do, I read what you have now and quote one fixed number, then I build it and you test it on your own phone before it goes live. You deal with me at every step, on one WhatsApp.

  1. You tell me what it must do

Who uses it, what they need to get done, and what it has to connect to: payments, bookings, a CRM or a database you already have.

  2. I read what's already there

If you have a site, I look at what it runs before I quote, because what's installed usually decides whether a feature is cheap or a rebuild.

  3. You get one fixed price

One number, with any optional extras priced separately, and a smaller first phase where the work splits cleanly.

  4. I build it, you test it

You see it working on your own phone before it goes live, and I fix what you find.

  5. Launch, then upkeep if you want it

I put it live and stay on WhatsApp. A retainer covers updates, backups, security and changes each month.

Questions people ask about web development

How much does web development cost in Singapore?

A custom website with me starts at SGD 2,535 for up to 10 pages. An online shop added to a site starts at SGD 3,540, a feature on a site you already have at SGD 2,530, and a web application with logins and a database at SGD 12,140. Each job is quoted as one fixed number before I start.

How long does it take to build a website?

A Starter site takes 2 to 3 weeks, Growth takes 3 to 5 weeks and Premium takes 5 to 8 weeks. Web applications and large shops are timed with the quote, because the scope decides it, and a smaller first phase can go live sooner.

Should I use WordPress or a custom-coded site?

WordPress if you'll edit often or need a plugin that already does the job well, like WooCommerce for a shop. A coded site on Astro or Next.js if speed and search matter most, or the site needs logic a plugin can't do cleanly. I'll tell you which before I quote, and why.

What's the difference between web design and web development?

Web design is how the site looks and reads: the layout, the words and the images. Web development is the code that makes it work: the pages, forms, payments and connections to other systems. I do both, so nothing gets lost between the design and the build.

Can you add a feature to a site I already have?

Yes. A booking flow, a login-gated form, an integration or a bot, from SGD 2,530. I look at what your site already runs first, because what's installed usually decides whether the feature is cheap or needs a rebuild, and I'll tell you which.

Do I own the code and the site?

Yes. What I build is yours to keep, with no lock-in contract. If you later want another developer to work on it, you can take it to them.

Can my website take PayNow and GrabPay?

Yes. Through a payment gateway, a shop or a booking page can take PayNow, cards, GrabPay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Which methods you get depends on the gateway you choose, and my online shops page lists which gateway takes which.

Why is my website slow, and can you fix it?

It's usually heavy images, too many plugins, slow hosting or scripts that stop the page showing until they load. I find which before I quote. Most fixes are a one-off job from SGD 850. When a site is slow because of how it was built, a rebuild on a lighter platform can be the better spend, and I'll say so.

Do I need a mobile app, or is a website enough?

For most Singapore businesses, a fast website that works well on phones is enough, and it reaches everyone without an install. An app starts to earn its cost when people use it every day, need it offline, or need phone features like push notifications.

What is a headless CMS, and do I need one?

A headless CMS keeps your content in an editor such as WordPress while the site itself is built separately, so it can load faster and the design isn't tied to a theme. Ingleside runs this way: the site is Next.js and the menus and events are edited in WordPress. A small site that rarely changes doesn't need one.

What happens after the site goes live?

I stay on WhatsApp, and Starter, Growth and Premium each come with a bug-fix or support period after launch. After that, a content retainer at SGD 550 a month covers updates, backups, security and hours of changes. For a site I built, the website partner retainer also runs your ads, SEO and new landing pages.
