Their existing website had become outdated and no longer reflected the sophistication of their showroom experience or the breadth of their product offering.

Sol Luminaire's existing site failed to convey the luxury, editorial quality that customers experience in their physical showroom. The design and functionality were outdated, creating a disconnect between their premium in-store experience and their digital presence.

With multiple distinct product verticals — AEON® (proprietary track lighting and fixtures), Sol·T (LTECH smart home automation), the LAB2.1 (exclusive designer collections), Galerie 5 (premium homeware), and Rooms (multi-brand curated spaces) — the site needed a sophisticated information architecture that made navigation intuitive without overwhelming visitors.

Editorial Content Integration

Sol Luminaire produces rich editorial content through their Stories section — "Sol Meets" interviews, "The Edit" features, "In Conversation" pieces, and "Lights On" product spotlights. The old site had no elegant way to present this content alongside the product catalogue.

We developed a premium WordPress site that mirrors the immersive, gallery-like experience of Sol Luminaire's physical showroom, with a warm gold and cream visual language and sophisticated content architecture spanning all their brand verticals.

Immersive Full-Bleed Visual Design

Built a website anchored by dramatic full-width showroom photography with warm amber and gold tones. The hero section features a cinematic showroom display with the Sól logo centred, immediately communicating the brand's luxury positioning. A custom preloader animation sets the tone before content reveals.

Multi-Vertical Product Architecture

Developed distinct sections for each brand vertical — AEON® with its Circuit.11 track system and indoor/outdoor ranges, Sol·T smart home with LTECH panels and dimmers, the LAB2.1 featuring Mario Tsai Studio and Buster + Punch, and Galerie 5 for homeware — each with its own visual identity while maintaining brand cohesion.

Editorial Stories Platform

Built a content-rich Stories section with multiple editorial categories — "Sol Meets" for brand interviews, "The Edit" for curated features, "In Conversation" for designer spotlights, and "Lights On" for product deep-dives. Each story type has its own layout template for visual variety.

Gallery & Room Showcase

Developed an immersive gallery experience and Rooms section where visitors can explore curated lighting installations by space type, featuring products from partner brands like LYFA, Hansgrohe, KKPL, and Spin Fans. The room-based browsing mirrors how customers explore the physical showroom.
