Every Link Starts With a Real Email
Manual Outreach Link Building in Singapore
Most link building sold in Singapore is a spreadsheet of sites nobody reads. works the other way round. Terris researches publishers in your industry, pitches them
personally, and negotiates a placement on a page that already gets traffic. You see the target
list before a single email goes out, and you approve or reject every site on it. No private
blog networks, no link farms, nothing you would be uncomfortable showing Google.

What You Are Actually Buying at SGD 40 a Link
Cheap link packages are cheap for one reason: nobody had to persuade a real publisher to say yes. The seller already owns the site, or buys in bulk from someone who does. That is the entire difference, and it is the difference Google spends most of its time detecting. Here is what the money usually goes on.
Where the links come from
- Private blog networks. Expired domains bought for their old authority, filled with filler posts, and used to link out to paying clients.
- Marketplace resellers. The same few hundred sites resold through a dozen middlemen. Your competitor probably has links from them too.
- Directory and profile spam. Automated submissions to listing sites nobody has visited deliberately since about 2011.
- Zero traffic guest post farms. Real looking blogs with a Write For Us page, a rate card, and no readers at all.
What tends to happen next
- A bump, then a slide. Rankings lift for a few weeks on raw link volume, then settle back once the sources are reassessed.
- The links stop counting. Google mostly ignores them rather than penalising you. Your money bought nothing at all.
- Sometimes worse. Where the pattern is obvious enough, a manual action lands and the recovery takes months.
- You pay twice. Once for the links, again for somebody to audit and disavow them before real work can start.

Manual Outreach vs Everything Else
The four things you can buy when you search for backlinks in Singapore, side by side.
| Manual Outreach (Terris) | PBN / Link Network | Marketplace Gig | Cheap SEO Package | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Typical price per link | SGD 250 to 900 | SGD 20 to 60 | SGD 15 to 100 | Bundled, never itemised |
| Who owns the site | Independent publisher | The seller owns the network | Unknown reseller | Not disclosed |
| How the link is placed | Emailed the owner, negotiated | Auto published on their own sites | Bulk order form | Nobody tells you |
| Site has real organic traffic | Required, 1,000+ a month | Usually near zero | Rarely checked | Rarely checked |
| Topical relevance | Matched to your industry | Any niche, one template | All niches accepted | Random |
| You approve the site first | Yes, before any outreach | No | No | No |
| Outbound links on the page | Read and counted first | Hundreds, often unrelated | Unchecked | Unchecked |
| If the link disappears | Replaced free, checked monthly | Gone when the network burns | Often stripped within 90 days | You will not be told |
| Google spam policy risk | Low | High, this is a link scheme | High | High |
| What the report shows | Live URL, traffic, anchor, date | A list of URLs | A CSV | A link count |
| Realistic pace | 4 to 12 links a month | 100 links overnight | 50 links in a week | Whatever hits the number |
Prices are the going market rate in Singapore, not a quote. Yours depends on your industry and the authority bar you need to clear.
Seven Checks Before a Site Gets Pitched
Every candidate site clears all seven, or it does not make your list. This is the part that takes the time, and it is the only reason the links end up being worth anything.
Real organic traffic
At least 1,000 organic visits a month from Google, checked in Ahrefs and Semrush. Domain authority alone proves nothing. Plenty of DA 50 sites pull 40 visitors a month.
Topical relevance
The site already publishes about your industry. A link from a general lifestyle blog is worth a fraction of one from a publication your customers actually read.
Properly indexed
Homepage and inner pages both indexed in Google. A surprising number of paid guest post sites have been quietly deindexed and still keep selling placements.
No link selling footprint
If a site has a public rate card, a sponsored post price list, or a Write For Us page advertising dofollow links, Google can see that pattern too. We skip it.
Sane outbound links
We read the last ten posts. If every article dumps eight dofollow links to unrelated casinos, loans, and crypto, the site is a link farm wearing a blog theme.
A real editorial team
Named authors with actual bios, a contact address answered by a person, and posts written after the site launched rather than scraped into it.
Traffic holding or growing
A site that has lost 70% of its traffic since the last core update is on its way out. We check the trend line, not just the number on the day.
Not sure your current links pass?
Send us your domain. We will run your existing backlink profile through the same seven checks and tell you what is actually helping.
Get a free backlink auditHow a Campaign Actually Runs
Six steps, and you hold a veto at step three.
Backlink and gap audit
We pull your backlink profile and the profiles of the three competitors outranking you. That shows exactly which sites link to them and not to you, which is where the campaign starts.
We build the target list
Between 50 and 150 publishers, each one run through the seven checks above. You get a sheet with the URL, monthly organic traffic, authority scores, and the reason it made the list.
You approve the list
Nothing gets pitched until you have crossed off anything you do not want your brand sitting next to. Competitors, clients, former employers, sites you simply dislike. Your call, before any email goes out.
Personal outreach
Terris writes and sends every pitch. No sequencing tool blasting one template at 400 addresses. That is why the reply rate is workable and why editors take the conversation seriously.
Content and placement
We write to the publisher house style, agree the anchor text with you first, and place the link inside the body of a genuinely useful article. Never in a footer, sidebar, or author bio.
Report, monitor, replace
Every link is listed with its live URL, the anchor used, the site traffic, and the date placed. We recheck them monthly. If one is removed or switched to nofollow, we replace it free.
Check Your Current Provider in Ten Minutes
You do not need us to run this. Open your last link report and go down the list. Two or more of these and it is worth asking your provider some direct questions.
They will not name the sites before you pay
Any provider confident in their placements will show you the list. Refusing means the list would not survive inspection.
The price is under SGD 100 a link
A publisher with real readers will not accept SGD 60 to host a commercial link. At that price you are buying from a network, whatever the invoice calls it.
They promise a specific DA or DR number
Domain authority is a third party score that can be inflated cheaply. Guaranteeing DA 50 means they are optimising the metric, not your rankings.
The same 30 domains appear for every client
Search a few of your link URLs and look at who else those sites link to. If it is the same rotation of businesses, it is a network.
Links appear within 48 hours of ordering
Real outreach takes weeks because editors reply slowly. Instant delivery only happens when the seller controls the site.
The article reads like nobody proofread it
Open the page your link sits on. If it is 400 words of filler with three unrelated outbound links, that page exists to sell links, and Google can tell.
Rankings moved, then fell back a month later
A classic cheap link pattern. The bump comes from raw volume, then the algorithm reassesses the quality of the sources.
Nobody rechecks whether links are still live
Links get removed all the time. If nobody is checking, you are paying for placements that quietly stopped existing.

Links Cannot Rescue a Broken Site
This is the part most link sellers leave out. If your pages load in eight seconds, half your site is not indexed, or the content does not answer the query, links will not fix any of it. You will just be paying to point authority at a page Google has already decided against. When the audit shows that is your situation, we say so and we start somewhere else. Read the technical SEO checklist if you want to run the first pass yourself.
Technical SEO
Crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals and site structure. A link passes authority to a URL Google can actually crawl, render and index. If half your pages are excluded or the template takes eight seconds on mobile, the links land on a page that was never going to rank. This is the first thing the audit checks, and the first thing we fix if it is broken.
Technical SEO in Singapore →On-Page SEO
Title tags, heading structure, internal linking, content depth and schema. Links raise the ceiling on what a page is capable of ranking for. On-page decides how close it gets to that ceiling. Pointing ten strong links at a thin 300 word service page wastes most of what you paid for, so we usually rewrite the target page before the campaign starts.
On-page SEO in Singapore →Content Marketing
Outreach is far easier when there is something worth linking to. Original research, data, tools and genuinely useful guides give an editor a reason to say yes that a service page never will. The campaigns that land the best placements are almost always the ones with a real asset behind the pitch.
Content marketing in Singapore →Local SEO
Editorial links and local signals are different jobs. If you are chasing the map pack rather than the blue links, Google Business Profile, citations and NAP consistency move the needle more than a guest post will. Most Singapore service businesses need both, running side by side.
Local SEO in Singapore →Ecommerce SEO
Online stores have a specific problem: the pages that need authority are category and product pages, and nobody links to those voluntarily. The work is building links to the guides and comparisons that surround them, then routing that authority internally to the pages that sell.
Ecommerce SEO in Singapore →Web Development
Sometimes the honest answer is that the site itself is the bottleneck. Slow, dated, or built on a platform that fights every change. Rebuilding it is a bigger conversation than a link retainer, and occasionally it is the one worth having first, because everything after it compounds.
Web development in Singapore →Running more than one of these together is usually cheaper than buying them separately, and most clients end up on the full SEO programme rather than links alone. Ask for a combined quote.
When This Works, and When It Does Not
Cheaper for both of us to find out now.
Good fit if
- You have a site worth linking to, with real pages and real content
- You are chasing competitive Singapore terms where the top results all have links
- You can wait three to six months for rankings to move
- You want to see and approve every site before it is contacted
- You have been burned before and want to know where each link came from
Look elsewhere if
- You need rankings inside 30 days, in which case Google Ads is the honest answer
- Your site has thin content or unfixed technical problems, fix those first
- You want 100 links a month for SGD 500, because nobody can do that legitimately
- You want a guarantee of position one, which no agency can promise truthfully
- You are in a niche we would have to misrepresent to get placements
