8 Best Bed Frame Shops in Singapore (November 2026)
The 8 best bed frame shops in Singapore for 2026, from S$64 to S$3,488, with local bed sizes, storage beds and the base rule that can void a mattress warranty.

Why it's No. 1 This guide is part of Terris Recommends, my researched, hands-on picks of the best local businesses and services in Singapore. Every recommendation is researched and ranked by me.
See all recommendationsThe best bed frame Singapore shops sell is the one that takes a Singapore mattress. That sounds too obvious to write down, and it is still the mistake that turns up most often in the reviews I read for this guide: a frame bought on looks, sized for a 200cm European mattress, sitting under a local 190cm one with a gap at the foot you could lose a phone in.
So this guide starts with sizes, then the two questions that decide whether a frame works here: what it stores, and what it puts under the mattress. The second matters more than people expect. King Koil, one of the biggest mattress names in Singapore, says in its own FAQ that its mattresses must sit on a solid wooden base and that a slatted frame voids the warranty. Origin says the opposite.
I looked at eight shops, from a S$64 IKEA pine single to a S$3,488 solid oak super king, and checked each one's sizes, base, storage mechanism and prices on its own site. Prices are as of November 2026. If you are furnishing the whole flat, my guide to the best furniture stores in Singapore has the lift and doorway measurements that apply to a bed frame too, and my picks of the best mattress brands in Singapore cover what goes on top.
Four checks, in the order I would do them.
- Size it to the mattress, in centimetres. Local mattresses are 190cm long: single 91cm, super single 107cm, queen 152cm and king 183cm wide. Plenty of imported frames, IKEA's included, are built for 200cm mattresses and different widths. Read the inside dimensions of the frame rather than the size name, because "queen" means 152cm here and 150 or 160cm in a European catalogue.
- Decide what the base has to be. Slats let a mattress breathe, which suits this climate, but some mattress makers will not cover a mattress that sits on them. King Koil requires a solid wooden base. Origin is happy on slats. Check your mattress warranty before you choose the frame, not after the frame is assembled.
- Pick the storage you will actually use. A gas-lift storage bed holds the most and suits things you touch a few times a year. Drawers suit things you reach for every week, but they need clear floor beside the bed to open fully, which a narrow common bedroom often does not have.
- Think about what lives underneath. A frame on legs with 10cm or more of clearance can be vacuumed, by hand or by most robot vacuums, and you can see what is under it. A storage bed or a divan sits on the floor and hides everything. That is tidy, and it is also where dust collects and where bed bugs go unnoticed. The government's own advice, in a 2024 parliamentary reply from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, is to check beds, furniture and the places luggage is stored. A storage bed full of suitcases is all three at once.
One timing point. Get the frame delivered before the mattress, or on the same day. A mattress that arrives at a flat with no frame ends up on the floor for a fortnight, and in a humid room nothing dries its underside. If yours has already spent time down there, one of the best mattress cleaning services in Singapore is cheaper than a new mattress.
And get the delivery date in writing if the frame is made to order. Solid wood frames commonly run two to three weeks, custom upholstery longer. If a shop misses the date and will not refund the deposit, CASE is where that complaint goes.
| Size | Mattress (width x length) | Where it usually goes |
|---|---|---|
| Single | 91 x 190cm | Children's rooms, helper's rooms, a study that doubles as a guest room |
| Super single | 107 x 190cm | HDB common bedrooms, teenagers, one adult |
| Queen | 152 x 190cm | Master bedrooms, and a common bedroom only if you accept tight sides |
| King | 183 x 190cm | Master bedrooms in larger flats and condos |
These are the sizes King Koil publishes for Singapore, and most local mattress makers use the same four. IKEA's frames here are mostly 90 x 200cm and 150 x 200cm. Put a local queen into an IKEA 150cm frame and it is 2cm too wide and 10cm too short. Heveya sells the same bed in "SG" and "EU" sizes, which tells you how often this comes up.
The frame is always bigger than the mattress. Scanteak's solid teak queen measures 159.5cm wide and 200cm long on the outside, for a mattress of 152 by 190. Common bedrooms in a lot of HDB flats are around 3 metres on the short side, which leaves roughly 140cm for a wardrobe, a door swing and a person. That is why most families put super singles in the common bedrooms and keep the queen for the master. Measure your own room before you trust any of those numbers.

It opened in 2019 and furnishes the whole flat, but the bed range is the reason it is here. Beyond storage beds it has divans, platform beds, floating beds, loft beds, children's beds and 3-in-1 beds with a pull-out, and it takes custom orders sized for HDB, BTO and condo layouts. That helps when a room is a few centimetres short of fitting the standard size.
Use the showroom properly. Lift the base of the model you like with a mattress on it, and ask how many gas struts it has and what mattress weight they are rated for. Maxi Home's own buying guide makes the point that an under-rated strut is why a lid drifts shut or needs propping, and it is a fair question to put to every shop on this list.

Heveya is better known for organic latex mattresses, and the frames follow the same thinking: natural materials, and slats that let the mattress breathe. The upholstered Lusso is wrapped in 520 GSM French linen over solid camphor wood slats, can be made to custom sizes, and starts from S$3,588.
The detail I like is that it sells the same bed in "SG" and "EU" sizes. If you are bringing a European mattress from overseas, or buying one, that settles the 10cm question before it starts. The flagship is at 32 Eng Hoon Street in Tiong Bahru, with a second showroom at Great World and counters in Takashimaya and TANGS.

There are three other frames on the same pricing: an upholstered frame, a storage frame with a hydraulic lift, and a remote-controlled adjustable base from S$1,579. The storage frame is not on display at the Plaza Singapura showroom, so if storage is the point, go to the Ubi showroom at 36 Kaki Bukit Place instead.
Origin's FAQ says its mattress works on any flat frame, slats included, and even on the floor, which makes the frame a choice about looks and storage rather than about the warranty. As with its mattresses, treat the list price as notional: S$839 is what people pay, and S$1,678 is not.

That matters because of King Koil's rule: its mattresses must sit on a frame with a solid wooden base, and a slatted frame voids the warranty. A divan is exactly that kind of base. The Boutique also sells storage divans from S$549 for a single, King Koil's own storage bed at up to S$1,789 for a king, customisable frames and odd-size mattresses for rooms that do not take a standard one.
It started in 2017 and has three showrooms: Tradehub 21 in Jurong, AZ@Paya Lebar and Nordcom 2 in Sembawang. Try the mattress on the base you mean to buy rather than on a display platform, because the base changes how firm the same mattress feels.

It still names beds the old way, by width in feet: 3ft single, 3.5ft super single, 5ft queen, 6ft king. Read the real dimensions anyway. The Enkel queen is 159.5cm wide and 200cm long outside, and that is the number that has to fit between your wardrobe and the wall. On the cheaper 3ft single the head and foot are solid teak and the side panels are teak ply and veneer, which is worth knowing at that price.
The piece I would point out is the 3ft pull-out bed at S$499, a teak trundle on rollers that slides under its 3ft and 3.5ft frames. For a common bedroom that hosts a visiting grandparent twice a year, it does the job of a guest bed without taking any floor. It takes a mattress no thicker than 6 inches, and frames have a lead time of two to three weeks.
- Best for
- Wood that handles the humidity
- Frames
- Teak with birch ply slats, S$629 to S$2,199
- Pull-out bed

It sells direct from its own factory in Johor and has a flagship at 134 Joo Seng Road, plus showrooms at Giant Tampines and Tradehub 21 in Jurong. That is three places to open a storage bed and feel the struts, and the range is wide enough to find one for an odd-sized room.
The budget tier is fine for a bed frame in a way it is not for a mattress, because comfort is the mattress's job. The frame just has to stay square and quiet, and hold at the hinge. On cheaper storage beds, ask what the base board is made of, since a particle board base inside a closed box in a humid room is the part that ages first, and ask for the warranty on the gas struts separately from the frame.
- Best for
- A storage bed when the renovation ate the budget
- Storage beds
- 126 models, S$449 to S$1,799

Do the arithmetic before you mix brands. A local queen is 152 x 190cm, so in a 150 x 200cm IKEA frame it is 2cm too wide and 10cm too short. A local single is 1cm too wide and 10cm short in a 90cm frame. Buy the frame and the mattress together at IKEA and none of this matters. Mix them and you will notice every night.
Two smaller points. The slatted base is often a separate choice from the frame, so check what the price includes. And the storage frames are good value: the MALM high frame with two storage boxes is S$339 for a single, and the SLÄKT with an underbed is S$379. Stores are at Alexandra, Tampines and Jurong.
- Best for
- The lowest price, bought as a set with an IKEA mattress
- Frames
- From S$64, mostly 90 x 200cm and 150 x 200cm
- Watch for
- Local 190cm mattresses do not fit its frames properly
- Stores
- Alexandra, Tampines and Jurong

In an HDB common bedroom that is a space argument as much as a design one. A loft bed puts the sleeping space above a desk or storage, and a bunk puts two children in one footprint. The furniture is TÜV certified for safety and carries warranties of up to 15 years, which is the kind of thing you want on anything a child climbs.
It sits at the premium end, so it suits parents who intend to keep one bed from toddler to teenager rather than replace it twice. The showroom is at 100E Pasir Panjang Road in the B&D Building, where the conversions are set up so you can see them rather than imagine them from a catalogue.
- Best for
- One bed that lasts a child from toddler to teen
- Brands
- Lifetime Kidsrooms and Oliver Furniture, made in Denmark
- Converts
- Single to bunk bed to loft bed
- Warranty
- Up to 15 years

A hydraulic storage bed in Singapore is worth it for things you use a few times a year: spare bedding, suitcases, festive decorations. Gas-lift models start from about S$399 at Maxi Home and S$449 at Megafurniture, and the whole space under the mattress becomes one compartment. For things you need every week, drawers are better.
The trade-off is simple. A gas-lift bed needs no floor beside it but makes you lift the mattress platform every time. Drawers open from the side and need clear floor to do it. In a narrow common bedroom where the bed sits against a wall, gas lift usually wins by default.
Three things to check on any storage bed Singapore shops sell. How many struts it has and what mattress weight they are rated for, because a heavy pocket spring mattress on a strut rated for foam is how a lid starts to sag. What the base board is made of, since it sits in a closed box. And what you will store, because a closed box under a bed in this humidity is a poor place for anything sealed in plastic, and a suitcase back from a trip should be checked before it goes in. If you ever do find signs of bed bugs, my guide to the best bed bug control services in Singapore covers the treatment.
A super single, at 107 x 190cm, fits most HDB common bedrooms with room for a wardrobe and a desk. A queen, at 152 x 190cm, usually fits too, but its frame is closer to 160 x 200cm outside, so in a room around 3 metres across you give up most of the floor on one side.
Measure three things: the wall the headboard goes against, the distance from the foot of the bed to the wardrobe once its doors are open, and the door swing. Then check the delivery path, because a queen headboard has to get through the lift and the bedroom door first; the lift and doorway figures are in my guide to the best furniture stores in Singapore. If the room is an awkward shape, a built-in platform bed with storage from one of the best carpenters in Singapore is the other route.
Sometimes, and it depends entirely on the mattress brand. King Koil Singapore says its mattresses must sit on a solid wooden base and that using a slatted frame voids the warranty. Origin says its mattress works on any flat frame, slats included. Other brands sit between those two, so read your mattress warranty before you buy the frame.
If your mattress maker accepts slats, ask it for the largest gap it allows between them and measure the frame against that, since foam can start to dip into wide gaps over the years. If it wants a solid base, a divan or a frame with a solid board deck is the safe choice. My picks of the best mattress brands in Singapore cover the trials and warranties on the mattress side.
A bed frame in Singapore costs from S$64 for an IKEA pine single to around S$3,500 for a solid oak super king. Upholstered storage beds run S$399 to S$1,799, solid teak S$629 to S$2,199, and premium solid oak S$2,188 to S$3,488, as of November 2026.
| Type | Price | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Flat-pack | S$64 to about S$400 | IKEA TARVA, MALM, SLÄKT |
| Upholstered storage bed | S$399 to S$1,799 | Maxi Home, Megafurniture |
| Divan and storage divan | S$349 to S$1,789 | The Mattress Boutique, King Koil |
| Solid wood | S$629 to S$2,199 | Scanteak teak, Origin timber from S$839 |
| Premium solid oak | S$2,188 to S$3,488 | Heveya Ligna |
Two adjustments when comparing. Check whether the slatted base is included, since at IKEA it is often a separate choice. And treat the list price on permanent-sale brands as notional: Origin's frame is listed at S$1,678 and sells at S$839 every day.
For a storage bed, go to Maxi Home and open a dozen of them in one afternoon, or Megafurniture if the budget is tight. For a frame you keep for twenty years, Heveya in solid oak, or Scanteak in teak for less. For the frame and mattress in one order, Origin. If your mattress needs a solid base, The Mattress Boutique and a divan. For the cheapest frame that works, IKEA, with an IKEA mattress. For a child, Kuhl Home, once, instead of three beds in ten years.
Whatever you choose, do two things first. Read the inside dimensions of the frame against your mattress in centimetres, because 190 and 200 are different numbers. And read your mattress warranty for what it needs underneath. The bed frame Singapore buyers regret is nearly always one that failed one of those two checks.
The bedroom is one room of several. My guide to the best furniture stores in Singapore covers the whole flat. If the common bedroom doubles as a study, my picks of the best office chairs in Singapore deal with the other piece of furniture you sit on for hours. If guests are the problem, the best sofa shops in Singapore include the sofa bed option, and the same solid wood argument applies at the best dining table shops in Singapore.
A closing note for the retailers. The shops on this page that publish inside dimensions in centimetres, and say plainly which mattress size a frame takes, were the easiest to recommend, because that is the first thing a buyer here needs and the thing most listings leave out. Someone comparing frames at midnight buys from the site that answers the question. If your website is the weak link, that is fixable, and it happens to be my day job. Have a look at my web design services in Singapore, or get a quote and I will tell you honestly what I would change.
