10 Best Office Chair Shops in Singapore (November 2026)
The 10 best office chair shops in Singapore for 2026: where to sit in a chair first, seat heights for shorter frames, and what each warranty covers.
1 Ergoworks The most chairs to compare in one visit
Why it's No. 1 This guide is part of Terris Recommends, my researched, hands-on picks of the best local businesses and services in Singapore. Every recommendation is researched and ranked by me.
See all recommendationsMost people shopping for an office chair in Singapore check how high the seat goes. For a lot of us, the number that matters is how low it goes.
A standard desk sits at about 72 to 75cm. If a chair's lowest setting stops in the high 40s of centimetres, someone around 155 to 160cm tall ends up with their feet off the floor and the front edge of the seat pressing into the back of the knee. It is an easy way for a $700 chair to feel worse than a $150 one, and it never shows up in a product photo. The smallest Herman Miller Aeron goes down to 36.6cm, which tells you the better makers know it.
For this guide I went through the spec sheets, warranty terms, prices and showroom details of every shop on it, and checked that you can sit in the chair (or try it at home) before you pay. It covers ten places to buy an office chair in Singapore: local ergonomic brands, the stores for Herman Miller, Steelcase and Humanscale, and two suppliers that fit out whole offices. If you are furnishing the rest of the flat as well, my guide to the best furniture stores in Singapore covers the lift and doorway measurements that decide what fits.
Four things matter more than the price tag.
- Seat height and seat depth for your frame. Sit with your feet flat and your thighs roughly level, then check for a gap of two to three fingers between the seat edge and the back of your knee. Shorter people need a low bottom setting and a seat that slides forward and back, because a seat that is too deep pushes you off the backrest and away from the lumbar support. Some makers size their chairs: the Aeron comes in A, B and C, and the Secretlab TITAN Evo comes in more than one size too. If your feet still hang at the desk, a footrest is the cheap fix.
- Warranty length, and what it actually covers. This is the clearest quality signal a shop gives you, because nobody offers 12 years on a mechanism they expect to fail in four. Herman Miller quotes 12 years based on round-the-clock use. Steelcase's Singapore store lists a lifetime warranty on the Gesture's frame and 12 years on its mechanism, gas lift and foam. Humanscale advertises 15 years of 24/7 use on the Freedom. Plenty of budget chairs on the marketplaces stop at one to three years. Read the small print either way, because fabric, cushions and armpads often get a shorter term than the frame.
- Mesh, foam or leatherette in this humidity. Mesh lets air through your back, which matters in a flat where the aircon is off for half the day. Foam with a fabric cover runs warmer but is kinder for long sits. PU leatherette is the one to be careful with, because heat and damp make it crack and peel. Secretlab offers a Peel Protection Guarantee that it only runs in Singapore, which tells you how familiar the problem is here.
- Sit in it first. Every shop on this list has a showroom or a home trial, so use it. Fifteen minutes in a chair at your real desk height tells you more than any review, and it is the only way to find out whether the lumbar support lands on your lower back or somewhere above it.
There is a workplace safety side to this too. The Ministry of Manpower put work-related musculoskeletal disorders at 26% of occupational disease cases in the first half of 2025, second only to noise-induced deafness, and widened the occupational disease list from 1 December 2025 to cover those disorders beyond the upper limbs. If you are setting up workstations for staff, the WSH Council's ergonomics guidance is the place to start, and the Singapore Standard for office ergonomics, SS 514, is the document a proper office fit-out should be working to.

The company was incorporated in Singapore in 2001 and launched the Ergoworks brand in 2005. Its site says it has sold more than 211,500 chairs and lists endorsements from the Singapore Physiotherapy Association and the Chiropractic Association Singapore. Chairs run from under $300 to $1,299 for the Falcon, which came with a free footrest worth $150 when I checked, a useful extra if you are on the shorter side.
It also sells standing desks and handles office orders for businesses, so a company can test a chair at the showroom and order forty of them through the same people. Its ErgoCare warranty runs up to 12 years on its core products. Ask which parts that covers on the model you pick, since the headline figure and the per-part terms are rarely the same thing.

The flagship models cost more: at list price the Karman is $1,899, the Leap $1,999 and the Gesture $2,089. What the extra money buys is mostly longevity. For the Gesture, the store lists a lifetime warranty on the frame, seat shell, base and arm structure, and 12 years on the mechanism, gas lift, foam and casters. That is a chair priced to last most of a career.
Buy through the Singapore store or an authorised dealer if you want that warranty honoured. The store runs regular sales (25% off storewide for 11.11 when I checked), keeps an outlet section of discounted chairs, and books showroom visits through its contact page, so you can sit in a Gesture and a Series 2 back to back before deciding the difference is worth $1,090.
- Best for

The Aeron is the chair to know about if you are short, because it comes in three sizes. Herman Miller's spec sheet puts the smallest, size A, at a seat height of 36.6 to 49cm, which suits far more people here than a one-size chair built around a taller average. Herman Miller calls size B its most inclusive, but if you are under about 160cm, sit in an A as well before you choose.
The Aeron starts at $2,139 on XTRA's site and the Embody Gaming at $3,479. The showroom also carries designer furniture and lighting from brands like Louis Poulsen, Muuto and Carl Hansen. A relocation sale was running in store when I checked, so confirm the showroom address before you make the trip.

- Carries

It is a Singapore company with its R&D here and a showroom at Prosper House on Lorong 23 Geylang, opposite Aljunied MRT. Prices on its site ran from $349 for the Joobie Lite to $519 for the Supreme and the Joobie and $769 for the Vesby when I checked, all shown as sale prices.
Read the warranty terms properly. ErgoTune's Singapore help centre lists four years on the frame and three on the mechanisms as standard, each extendable by two years, so up to six and five. That is good for the price, and it is a different promise from the 12-year terms further up this list. One practical note: the showroom is closed on Fridays.
- Best for
- A mid-range mesh chair, tested at your own desk
- Showroom
- 101 Lorong 23 Geylang, #01-03 Prosper House (closed Fridays)
- Prices
- Joobie Lite $349, Supreme from $519, Vesby $769

It is a Singapore standing desk brand, and its Funan flagship has every desk model on display along with its own ergonomic chairs, the Loft and the Embrace Pro, to test. It also sells compact-depth desk tops for BTO and condo rooms, which matters when the study is small and a deep desk eats the floor space your chair needs to roll back.
The Funan store is open every day until 9pm, and there is a smaller concept display at B-Central on Bendemeer Road. The showroom page asks you to bring your room dimensions and a photo of your current setup, which is good advice for any shop on this list. Companies get a separate corporate sales team.
- Best for
- Matching the chair to the desk in one visit
- Showroom
- Funan Mall, 107 North Bridge Road, #03-K03
- Chairs to test
- Loft and Embrace Pro
- Also sells
- Standing desks, including compact-depth tops for BTO rooms

The interesting part for this climate is the upholstery. Secretlab describes its NEO Hybrid Leatherette as designed for warm, humid climates, and every chair is covered by either a Peel Protection Guarantee or a replacement programme that is only available in Singapore. If peeling put you off leatherette chairs in the past, that guarantee is the thing to ask about.
The warranty is shorter than the premium office brands, extendable from three years to five. The showroom is at Secretlab's global HQ and R&D centre on Braddell Road and works by appointment, which you book over WhatsApp. Try the sizes too, because the TITAN Evo is not one-size-fits-all and the wrong one sits badly.
- Known for
- TITAN Evo gaming chairs and the ATLAS task chair
- Best for
- One chair that does work and gaming
- Showroom
- Global HQ, 351 Braddell Road, #05-02 (by appointment)
- Warranty
- Extendable from 3 to 5 years, plus a Singapore-only peel guarantee

Humanscale opened its Asia Pacific headquarters and showroom in late 2025, in two heritage shophouses on Teo Hong Road, opposite Outram Park MRT. It opens on weekdays by appointment, and it is set up for companies kitting out an office as much as for individuals.
Humanscale advertises a 15-year warranty based on 24/7 use for the Freedom, the longest headline figure on this list, though fabric and cushions can carry a shorter term. Singapore prices are by quote rather than listed online, so ask for a number before you get attached to a colour.
- Known for
- The Freedom chair and its weight-sensitive recline
- Best for
- Offices, and anyone who hates fiddling with knobs
- Showroom
- Teo Hong Road, opposite Outram Park MRT (weekdays, by appointment)
- Warranty
- 15 years, 24/7 use, on the Freedom

It sells office chairs and standing desks to homes and businesses, takes bulk orders, and has an office system furniture catalogue for companies. Warranties run up to seven years depending on the product, and its own team page shows staff who have been there since 2014.
For a home office in the north or east, it saves a trip into town. For a small company, it is a sensible way to put ten or twenty people in decent chairs without paying premium-brand prices for every seat.
- Best for
- Budget ergonomic chairs you can try first
- Showrooms
- Woodlands 11, #10-22, and Oxley BizHub 2 on Ubi Road 1
- Warranty
- Up to 7 years, depending on the product
- Also does
- Bulk and corporate orders

For a fit-out, that history matters more than any single chair. A supplier that has been trading for more than 35 years is far more likely to still be answering the phone when a gas lift fails in year six, and Benel runs its own product warranty and repair programme for exactly that call.
Its Paya Lebar showroom opens on weekdays, and appointments can be booked through the site. Bring a floor plan and a headcount, so the first conversation starts with real numbers instead of a catalogue.
- Best for
- Furnishing a whole office from one supplier
- Showroom
- 140 Paya Lebar Road, #02-02 (weekdays)
- Founded
- 1988, in Singapore
- Covers
- Workplace and healthcare furniture, with its own factory

It has more than ten years of experience, and its services cover office reconfiguration, partitions and the fire safety (FSSD) submissions a layout change can need. It also works outside office hours and at weekends, so staff come back on Monday to a finished space instead of working around an installation crew.
Its office is in the IMM Building in Jurong East. For the chairs themselves, I would still test a shortlist at one of the showrooms above with a few colleagues of different heights, then let the fit-out supplier handle the quantities and the installation.
- Best for
- An office layout change, not just new chairs
- Office
- 2 Jurong East Street 21, #02-149 IMM Building
- Services
- Space planning, partitions, reconfiguration and FSSD submissions
- Installs
- After hours and at weekends

A good ergonomic office chair in Singapore costs roughly $350 to $800 from the local brands and $800 to $2,200 from the premium makers. ErgoTune's Joobie Lite is $349, Steelcase's Series 2 is $999, and a Herman Miller Aeron starts at $2,139 at XTRA. The premium price mostly buys a longer warranty.
| Chair | Where | Price (SGD) |
|---|---|---|
| Joobie Lite | ErgoTune | $349 |
| Supreme | ErgoTune | From $519 |
| Vesby | ErgoTune | $769 |
| Series 1 | Steelcase Singapore | $799 |
| Series 2 | Steelcase Singapore | $999 |
| Falcon | Ergoworks | $1,299 |
| Karman | Steelcase Singapore | $1,899 |
| Leap | Steelcase Singapore | $1,999 |
| Gesture | Steelcase Singapore | $2,089 |
| Aeron | XTRA | From $2,139 |
I checked these prices in early November 2026, and several were sale prices that move with every promotion, so treat them as a guide. Below about $300, look at the warranty before anything else. Spread over 12 years of cover, even a $2,139 Aeron works out at under $3.50 a week.
For a full workday at home, an ergonomic office chair with a mesh back and adjustable lumbar support usually beats a gaming chair. Gaming chairs tend to use bolstered bucket seats and leatherette, which run warm in Singapore's humidity. If you game every evening as well, a hybrid such as Secretlab's ATLAS task chair covers both.
The bigger question is fit. A well-sized gaming chair is better than a badly sized office chair, so whichever type you lean towards, check the lowest seat height, the seat depth and whether the lumbar support moves. Then sit in it at your real desk height, which is the step most people skip.
You can try ergonomic chairs before buying at Ergoworks and XTRA in Marina Square, ErgoTune in Geylang, Omnidesk at Funan, and TakeAseat in Woodlands and Ubi, and by appointment at Secretlab, Humanscale and the Steelcase Singapore store. ErgoTune also runs a three-week trial at home, which is the best test of all.
Make the visit count. Wear what you normally work in, know your desk height (measure it, most are 72 to 75cm), and spend at least fifteen minutes in each chair you are serious about. Set the seat to its lowest position first, so you know whether it goes low enough, and only then start adjusting upwards.
If you are under about 160cm, look for an office chair whose seat drops to around 40cm or lower and whose seat depth adjusts, so you can sit right back against the lumbar support with two to three fingers of space behind your knees. Sized chairs make this easier: the Herman Miller Aeron in size A goes down to 36.6cm.
If the chair fits but the desk is still too high, the fix is a footrest rather than raising the chair until your feet dangle. And if you already have back or neck pain, get it looked at before spending $2,000 on a chair to solve it. My guide to the best physiotherapy clinics in Singapore is a good place to start.
To furnish a whole office in Singapore, test two or three shortlisted chairs with a few staff of different heights, then get quotes from an office furniture supplier such as Benel or Makeshift for the full layout, delivery and installation. Ask how fast warranty claims are handled, not only how long the warranty runs.
Buy one size of chair for everyone only if it adjusts far enough for your shortest and tallest staff. Otherwise order two sizes, which sized chairs like the Aeron make easy. If the furniture is part of a move, my guides to the best commercial interior design firms in Singapore and the best office movers in Singapore cover the two jobs on either side of it.
To compare a lot of chairs in one afternoon, Ergoworks at Marina Square. For a premium chair at a sensible price, the Steelcase Series 2. For an Aeron in the right size with Herman Miller's warranty intact, XTRA. For a mid-range mesh chair you can test at home for three weeks, ErgoTune.
If you are buying the desk as well, Omnidesk. For one chair that does work and gaming, Secretlab, and ask about the peel guarantee. Humanscale if you never want to touch a knob, TakeAseat for a budget chair you can sit in first, and Benel or Makeshift when a whole office needs doing.
Whichever office chair in Singapore you end up with, check how low the seat goes before you check anything else, and read what the warranty covers, not just how long it runs. The chair is also only one piece of the room. My guide to the best furniture stores in Singapore covers the rest of the flat, and the same measure-first habit applies to the best sofas in Singapore, the best dining tables in Singapore and the best bed frames in Singapore.
A closing note for the shops. The ones that publish seat height, seat depth and the full warranty terms on the product page were the easiest to put on this list, because those are the numbers a buyer checks late at night before choosing which showroom to visit. If your website hides them, that is fixable, and it happens to be my day job. Have a look at my web design services in Singapore, or get a quote and I will tell you honestly what I would change.
