01 · The problem

Your buyer has five tabs open.

They found you and four competitors in one search. Same template, same stock photo, same three boxes of services. A minute later they close the ones they can't tell apart.

A story page has one job at that moment: be the tab that stays open.

02 · The fix

So make yours the one they keep open.

That's what I build. Your site becomes a short story told in 3D, and the buyer flicking through five lookalike tabs gets a reason to stop on yours and scroll to the end.

The rest of this page shows how one gets made, starting with a single sentence.

03 · One sentence

It starts with one sentence.

Before anything gets built, we agree the one thing a visitor should understand by the last chapter. A drinks brand might pick "cold for 24 hours". A law firm might pick "one lawyer, start to finish". The rest of the page is there to prove it.

That sentence is the glowing dot you've been following. On your site it becomes the first thing people read, like the ones cycling behind this card.

04 · The script

Then I write it like a film.

The page becomes a script: what the camera sees and what the words say, one scroll at a time. You read it, change it and sign it off before any 3D exists.

The pencil lines behind this card are that stage. Nothing has been modelled yet, so changing your mind costs nothing.

05 · Clay

Then the structure goes up, like clay.

Every shape, every camera move and every pause goes in before any colour does. You scroll through a working version and tell me which parts feel slow, rushed or pointless.

Changes are cheap here and expensive after, so this is the stage to argue in.

06 · Colour and light

Then colour, then light.

Your brand colours go on, surfaces get their finish and the light is set so the scene looks like something you'd want to pick up. It's usually the moment clients stop asking whether it's worth it.

Your browser is drawing all of this live, right now. There's no video and no giant image file.

07 · Words and motion

The words arrive when the story needs them.

Each headline is timed to the scroll, so people read about the thing they're looking at, in the order you planned. I write the copy as well, so it's one voice from the first chapter to the enquiry form.

Every line stays real HTML for Google, for screen readers and for anyone with 3D switched off.

08 · Phone test

Most of your visitors will see it on a phone.

So every page is tuned on real phones, and it steps its own effects down on older ones so the scroll stays smooth.

09 · Launch

Then we watch where people stop.

Every chapter reports how many visitors reached it. If half of them leave at chapter three, we fix chapter three. I run Google Ads too, so the campaign that sends people here can be set up with the page.

The panels round the island are what you'd be looking at: how far people get, the Ads campaign and each enquiry as it lands. The numbers on them are examples.

10 · Five tabs, again

Same five tabs. Now yours has something in it.

Same search, same buyer, same four templates beside you. Yours is the one with a world inside it that they can turn round and scroll through.

That's what a story page is for. When the minute's up, yours is the tab with a reason to stay open.

Terris, who designs and builds each 3D story page

11 · Who builds it

From the first contact to launch, it's just me.

I'm Terris. I've designed and built websites since 2018. I write the script, model the scene, write the code and set up the ads, so the page you sign off is the page that goes live.

3D story pages are the newest thing I build, and this page and my about page are the proof so far. So every project can start with a small Story Proposal that you're free to walk away from.

Where it works

What a 3D website is good for

A building before it exists

Property launches, architecture, interiors, playgrounds. Let people walk round it while it is still a drawing.

A product from the inside

Hardware, bottles, bikes, anything with parts. Take it apart on the scroll and put it back together.

A place before the visit

Venues, attractions, hotels, showflats. The first walk-through happens on their phone.

A process you explain on every call

B2B services, manufacturing, logistics. Show the steps once, in order, so the call starts further along.

What to call it

Interactive, 3D or immersive website: which one do you need?

Most people looking for an interactive website designer have seen one of three things and don't know what it's called. Here is what each name means on this page, and which option builds it.

Animated or parallax website

Layered artwork that slides at different depths as you scroll. No real-time 3D, so it is light and works on every phone.

Also called: parallax scrolling website, website animation, scroll animation website

Scroll Story, $2,800

Interactive 3D website

A real 3D scene drawn live in the browser, with the scroll moving the camera through your story. This page is one.

Also called: 3D website, 3D landing page, scrollytelling website, WebGL or Three.js website

3D Story, $4,800

Immersive website

Several scenes or a full walk-through, with pieces people can turn, open or explore. Often built from your own CAD or product files.

Also called: immersive web experience, 3D product website, virtual walk-through

3D World, from $8,500

Prices

Fixed prices, in SGD

Start with a Story Proposal if you want to see it working first. Builds are half upfront and half when you sign off the finished page.

3D World

from $8,500

5 to 8 weeks

Several scenes, or your own CAD and product files brought to life.

  • Everything in 3D Story
  • Multiple scenes or a full walk-through
  • Interactive pieces: an exploded product, a room you can turn
  • Models built from your files

Already rebuilding your website with me? A 3D landing page on top of that build is $3,500. Hosting stays on your own account.

A good fit if

  • You're launching something: a product, a development, a venue, a campaign
  • What you sell is hard to understand from photos
  • Your competitors' sites all look like each other
  • You need one strong page for ads or a launch

Probably not if

  • You need it live next week
  • Your buyers mostly compare prices and specs
  • You need 30 pages written for search. A regular website build suits that better, and I do those too

What clients say about working with me

These are Google reviews for websites I've designed and built. 3D story pages are new, so none of them are for a 3D page yet, but it's the same person doing the work.

Questions

3D website questions people ask first

How much does a 3D website cost?

From $1,000 SGD for a Story Proposal (the script and a working clay version), $2,800 for a parallax scroll story, $4,800 for a full 3D story page like this one, and from $8,500 for several scenes or models built from your own files. Agencies usually quote five figures for the same kind of page, because a team of people each bill their part.

Is this the same as an interactive or scrollytelling website?

Yes, those are other names for it. A scrollytelling or interactive 3D website moves the story along as you scroll instead of making you click through pages. What makes these ones different is that the 3D is built around one sentence about your business, so the motion is there to prove a point, not just to look impressive.

What is the difference between an interactive, a 3D and an immersive website?

People use the words loosely. Here, an animated or parallax website is layered artwork that moves as you scroll (the Scroll Story). An interactive 3D website draws a real 3D scene in the browser that the scroll moves through (the 3D Story, like this page). An immersive website is several scenes or a full walk-through, often built from your own CAD or product files (the 3D World).

Are you a 3D and interactive website designer in Singapore?

Yes. I am Terris, a Singapore web designer, and I write, design and code these pages myself with WebGL and Three.js. You deal with one person from the first call to launch, and I reply within a working day.

Will a 3D page slow my site down or hurt my SEO?

Every heading and paragraph is ordinary HTML, loaded before the 3D, so Google reads the page like any other and visitors can start reading straight away. The scene is modelled in code rather than downloaded as heavy files, and it drops its own quality on slower devices to keep scrolling smooth.

What happens on an old phone?

The page checks what the device can handle and steps down as it goes: sharper or softer rendering, then fewer effects, until the scroll is smooth. A browser with no 3D support at all gets the same words as a plain page.

Do I need 3D models?

No. Most scenes are modelled for you, in code, the way this one is. If you have CAD drawings or product files, I can build from those, which is part of the 3D World tier.

Can I change the words after launch?

Yes. The copy sits in one file, separate from the 3D, so text changes are quick. Small edits in the first 30 days are included with 3D Story and 3D World.

Can you add this to my existing website?

Yes. It can live as a landing page on your current domain. If you are rebuilding your whole site with me, a 3D landing page on top of that build is $3,500.

Who owns the code and the scene?

You do, once it is paid for. Code, copy and scene all go to you, hosted on your own account.

How does payment work?

The Story Proposal is paid upfront and credited in full if you go ahead. Builds are half upfront and half when you sign off the finished page. Prices are in SGD.

Will Google Ads accept it as a landing page?

Yes. Ads cares about load speed and whether the page matches the ad, and both are built in: the text arrives first and the enquiry form works with or without the 3D. I run Google Ads too, so the page and the campaign can be set up together.
