Hi, I'm Terris. I'm a web designer in Singapore, full-time since 2018, and I run the ads and SEO for the sites I build myself.
Grow your business with website marketing in Singapore
Each month, the website partner retainer puts 20 hours of website marketing into a site I built: its Google Ads run and optimised, its SEO and AI search worked on, and new landing pages built for the ads, all run together. It's SGD 3,000 a month, flat.
What website marketing covers on the retainer
Website marketing on the retainer is 20 hours a month that I spend growing a site I built. The hours go to its Google Ads, its SEO and AI search, and new landing pages for the ads, in whatever mix growth needs that month. Unused hours roll over one month.
Google Ads
I set up the campaigns and write the ads, then keep optimising them and track every lead they bring in. Your ad budget goes straight to Google.
SEO and AI search
I fix what holds the site back in search and write new pages as answers to what your customers ask. Every month I also check how the business shows up in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews.
New landing pages
When a campaign needs a page of its own, I build it, test it and tune it against the ads that send people to it.
Where the 20 hours go
You tell me what matters that month, and the hours go there. Two example months:
These are examples. The total is 20 hours every month, and the split follows what growth needs.
How the ads, the SEO and the landing pages feed each other
Most businesses buy their website, their Google Ads and their SEO from three different suppliers, and each one works on its own part. On the retainer, all three are run together on the site I built, so each job improves the other two.
-
The page and the campaign are tuned together
When an ad gets clicks but no enquiries, I change the landing page and the ad together, because I run both. Between two suppliers, that fix usually falls through the gap.
-
The ads tell the SEO what to write
The search terms people type before they click your ads show what your customers actually ask. Those terms decide which pages I write next for search.
-
Changes don't wait for a handover
A new page, a new form or a fix goes to the person who built the site and knows how it's put together, so it's done in the same week the ads or the search work need it.
At an agency, a new landing page for your ads passes from an account manager to a designer to a developer. With me, it's one message to the person who built your site.
What the website partner retainer costs
The website partner retainer is SGD 3,000 a month for one website I built. Bought separately, my SEO and AI search retainer starts at SGD 2,500 a month and Website and Google Ads is SGD 2,500 a month, so the two together start at SGD 5,000 a month.
What the price includes
- Google Ads run and optimised, with every lead tracked
- SEO and AI search: fixes, new pages and the monthly check across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews
- New landing pages for your ads, built and tested
- 20 hours a month across all of it, unused hours roll over one month
- Hosting, updates, security and daily backups included
- Updates on WhatsApp whenever you ask
Against buying the parts separately
| SEO and AI search | from SGD 2,500/mo |
|---|---|
| Website and Google Ads | SGD 2,500/mo |
| Bought separately | from SGD 5,000/mo |
| Website partner retainer | SGD 3,000/mo |
Bought separately, each of those plans carries its own hours. The retainer shares 20 hours across all of the work, which is why it costs less, and why a month that needs a new landing page can spend its hours there.
The terms
- It's for websites I built, with one retainer per website.
- It runs month to month, and you can stop with 30 days' notice.
- Unused hours roll over one month.
- Hours past 20 in a month are SGD 120 an hour, agreed with you first.
- The fee is flat for ad budgets up to SGD 10,000 a month. Above that, it's 20% of ad spend.
- Your ad budget is paid to Google directly and never goes through me.
- I'll WhatsApp you an update on the results whenever you ask.

How to start on the retainer
The retainer is for websites I built, with one retainer per site. If I built yours, message me and I'll tell you where I'd spend the first month's hours. If I didn't, or you don't have a site yet, I build it first, and the retainer starts once it's live.
If I built your site
Message me on WhatsApp. I'll look at the site, its ads and where it shows up in search now, and tell you what I'd spend the first month's 20 hours on.
Message me about my siteIf you don't have a site yet, or I didn't build it
I build the site first. My website packages start at SGD 2,500, and the One Week Website is SGD 3,500 for a site that's live in 7 days. Once it's live, it can go on the retainer.
If you only need upkeep on a site someone else built, my website maintenance retainers start at SGD 550 a month. Website maintenance →
Questions about the website partner retainer
What is website marketing?
Website marketing, sometimes called online marketing, is the work that brings people to a website and turns them into enquiries: paid ads like Google Ads, SEO so the site is found in search and AI answers, and pages built to convert the visitors. On my website partner retainer, all three run together on a site I built, for SGD 3,000 a month.
How much does website marketing cost in Singapore?
Website marketing in Singapore usually means paying for SEO and Google Ads separately. Agencies here charge about SGD 2,500 to 4,500 a month for SEO and SGD 800 to 1,500 a month to manage Google Ads, before the ad budget. My website partner retainer covers both, plus new landing pages, for SGD 3,000 a month, on a site I built.
What do the 20 hours a month cover?
The 20 hours a month cover everything I do to grow the site: running and optimising the Google Ads, SEO and AI search work, and building new landing pages for the ads. The hours go wherever growth needs them that month, so a month launching a campaign might spend most of them on a landing page and the ads.
What happens to unused hours, or if a month needs more?
Unused hours on the retainer roll over for one month, then lapse. If a month needs more than 20 hours, the extra hours are SGD 120 an hour, and I agree them with you before I start.
Is my ad budget included in the retainer?
Your ad budget isn't included in the retainer. You pay it to Google directly, and it never goes through me. The retainer fee is flat for ad budgets up to SGD 10,000 a month, and above that it's 20% of ad spend.
Can I get the retainer for a website someone else built?
The website partner retainer is only for websites I built, with one retainer per site. If someone else built yours, I can build you a new one first and the retainer starts after launch. For SEO or Google Ads on the site you have, those are plans of their own, and upkeep alone starts at SGD 550 a month.
I don't have a website yet. Where do I start?
Without a website, you start with the build. My website packages start at SGD 2,500, and the One Week Website is SGD 3,500 for a site that's live in 7 days. Once the site is live, it can go straight onto the website partner retainer.
How will I know what the retainer is doing?
I'll WhatsApp you an update on the results whenever you ask: what the ads brought in, which leads came from where, and what moved in search. You message me with questions or ideas the same way, and I answer them myself.
Who does the work each month?
I do all of it myself. The person who built your site runs its Google Ads, its SEO and its landing pages, and answers your WhatsApp messages, so no part of the work is handed to someone else.
Do you guarantee rankings or leads?
I don't guarantee rankings, AI citations or a number of leads, because nobody controls Google's results or what an AI answer cites. What the retainer guarantees is the work: 20 hours a month spent growing your site, and an honest update whenever you ask for one.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
There's no minimum term on the website partner retainer. It runs month to month, and you can stop with 30 days' notice.
Why does it cost less than SEO and Google Ads bought separately?
The retainer costs less than SEO and Google Ads bought separately because each separate plan carries its own hours, while the retainer shares one pool of 20 hours a month across all of the work. That's also why it suits a site I built: I already know how it's put together, so the hours go into growth.
