GFF Weddings
GFF Weddings redesign concept with a Malay bride and groom in white seated on a floral pelamin, the headline "Your Dream Wedding Awaits" in uppercase serif with an italic accent, and copper and outlined buttons for a free consultation and the portfolio

We redesigned the homepage for GFF Wedding Services, a Malay and Muslim wedding planner in Singapore, around what couples actually come to see, which is other couples. The concept opens on a bride and groom at their pelamin, puts five real weddings on the homepage instead of behind a portfolio link, and names four services before the package price, so a couple who only needs a day-of coordinator finds that option too.

Before and after

Their site today, beside the redesign

GFF's current site is a capable Webflow build, with packages, four venues and an FAQ on the homepage. The concept takes the same business in a warmer direction and builds it around photographs of the couples themselves.

What This Business Needs

A wedding planner sells something a couple cannot try first. They are choosing who will run the nikah, the bersanding and a reception for several hundred guests, usually with both families watching, and most of the evidence they have is photographs of other people's weddings. The homepage has to show that evidence early and make the first conversation easy to start.

Requirement 01

Show Real Couples Early

Couples judge a planner on weddings it has already run. The pelamin, the bridal attire and the family moments need to be visible within the first scroll, because flowers and drapery on their own could belong to any decorator in Singapore.

Requirement 02

Traditional Enough for Parents

Malay weddings carry real ceremony, from the akad nikah to the bersanding. The design had to feel respectful enough for the parents who often pay and modern enough for the couple, who are the ones actually browsing on a phone.

Requirement 03

Room for Smaller Budgets

Not every couple wants a full package. Partial planning and day-of coordination need to be visible as options, or a couple who only needs help on the day assumes the planner is out of reach and leaves.

Requirement 04

Two Ways to Start

Some couples are ready to book a consultation. Plenty more want to send a WhatsApp and ask one question first. Both routes have to be there on the screens that matter.

Our Design Approach

How We Designed It

We built the concept on a warm palette taken from the wedding photography itself, and ordered the page the way a couple decides: see the weddings, see what is offered, read what other couples said, then ask about price.

A Palette Taken From the Weddings

Ivory and cream backgrounds, a deep chocolate brown for the services band, sage green behind the package and copper buttons that pick up the gold thread in songket and bridal embroidery. Cormorant Garamond in capitals carries the headings, with one italic word in the hero ("Awaits") so the type feels personal, and Lato keeps the body copy easy to read on a phone.

Couples First, Above the Fold

The hero is a bride and groom at their pelamin against a wall of white roses. A line above the headline reads "Singapore's Premier Malay Wedding Planner", so a visitor knows who this is for before they reach the headline, and the two buttons split the audience cleanly between booking a free consultation and viewing the work first.

Four Services Before the Price

A dark services band names Full Wedding Planning, Partial Planning, Day-of Coordination and Venue & Decor as four separate cards, each with a short description and a link. The package further down starts from a published price for 100 guests and lists six inclusions, from venue sourcing to cultural and religious ceremony support, with "Request a Custom Quote" for everything else.

Proof, Then the Ask

A five-photo grid of weddings and a reviews section sit between the services and the package, so a couple has seen the work before they reach a number. The page closes on "Let's Plan Your Perfect Day" with two buttons side by side, a free consultation in copper and a WhatsApp chat in green, for anyone who would rather ask a quick question first.
