Perfect Pairing is a dating app in Singapore that verifies every member with Singpass.

I designed and built the launch site around one objection. People have been catfished before, so every section either proves the verification or shows what it fixes. I set up the Google Ads as well.

What wasn't working, and how I fixed it
Before
Singpass sounds like tax filing, not a first date
Most people know Singpass from CPF statements and tax returns. Bolted onto a dating app, it could make the whole thing feel like paperwork.
What I did
I put Singpass in the headline and kept everything around it warm
Deep navy and coral, well away from the pink most dating apps use. The headline says Singapore's First Singpass-Verified Dating App, the button says Sign Up with Singpass, and two phones show the Singpass login and a profile card.
Before
Every dating app already says its profiles are real
People have been catfished, ghosted and charged for premium on the big apps. The same promise in a new font wasn't going to land.
What I did
I put each complaint right next to its fix
Four pairs answer the things people quit dating apps over. Fake Profiles Everywhere sits beside 100% Verified Singaporeans, Endless Ghosting beside Serious People Only, Long Distance Problems beside Find Someone Nearby, and Algorithm Games beside Fair for Everyone.
Before
There was no app to screenshot yet
The app wasn't public, so there was nothing to demo and no downloads or press to point to. The page had to carry the pitch on its own.
What I did
I drew the app into the page instead
Each of the three steps from signup to first date shows a piece of the interface: the red Log in with Singpass button, a profile card for Sarah, 28, two kilometres away, and a chat about MacRitchie with someone typing a reply.
Before
The launch offer needed a new deadline every month
The Founders Special runs to the end of each month. Nobody wanted a redeploy every month just to change a date, and an offer that had visibly run out would undo the trust the page was built on.
What I did
I made the offer keep its own date
The Founders Special sits above the Sign Up with Singpass button and always ends on the last day of the month you're reading it in, worked out in your browser. After November it removes itself.

How the build ran, 3 weeks in all

Positioning & Structure 3 days
Worked out the argument order: the complaint, the mechanism, the proof, the safety detail, then the offer. That order became the page structure.

Design 1 week
Designed the navy and coral system, the hero with device mockups, the problem/solution pairs, the comparison table and the founders pricing card.

Build 1 week
Built the eleven sections on Astro with scroll reveals and the self-expiring promo logic, plus the six pages including PDPA, privacy, terms and cookies.

Ads & Launch 2 days
Wired Google Ads conversion tracking to the signup path, tested the promo rollover across month boundaries, and deployed to Vercel.
