The project at a glance
I built 77 pages, 61 of them for individual services, and made the published rate card the centre of the site. The most common complaint about handymen in Singapore is that nobody tells you the price until they're in your kitchen.

What wasn't working, and how I fixed it
Before
A commercial contractor's record meant little to a homeowner
KDL Solutions has done commercial work since 2007, with a BCA workhead grade, bizSAFE and 66+ staff on its own payroll. To someone who wants a power point moved, that reads like a tender document.
What I did
I wrote the first screen for someone with a broken tap
It names the jobs in plain words and says one crew does all of it, seven days a week, with Since 2007 and a 3-month workmanship warranty under the headline. The card beside it asks for a photo on WhatsApp and promises a firm price before any work starts. The trade credentials get a band of their own further down.
Before
Seven trades were too many to sell from one page
Electrical, plumbing, aircon, painting, carpentry, bathrooms and mounting all come from one firm. Someone searching aircon chemical wash and someone searching toilet bowl installation each need to land on a page about their job.
What I did
I built 61 service pages, one for each job
Every trade under one roof gives each trade a card with its starting price, or quote by photo where a price can't be fixed, plus a card for 24/7 emergencies. Behind the cards the pages go down to brand level for water heaters, with one each for Ariston, Joven, Rheem, Rubine, Mistral and 707.
Before
Almost nobody in the handyman trade publishes prices
Call for a quote is the norm, and it's the biggest reason people distrust handymen. A homeowner assumes the number will move with whatever they look like they can pay.
What I did
I published the rate card and put Prices in the main menu
Prices you can see before you call lists starting prices for the common jobs, from a handyman visit to a toilet bowl installation, with a plain note that site inspection can change them. Above it, How it works runs in four steps from a photo on WhatsApp to the finished job, and the quotation from the photo is free.
Before
At 2am, a homeowner calls whoever picks up first
Nobody compares quotes for a burst pipe in the middle of the night, so emergency work needed a route of its own that's easy to spot. Offices, shops and MCSTs looking for a maintenance contract are a different sale again.
What I did
I gave emergencies and contracts their own routes
A dark band on the homepage asks Something's leaking, tripping or choked right now? and leads to the 24/7 emergency page, with the phone number beside it. Under it, a separate section takes offices, shops, restaurants and MCSTs to maintenance contracts on monthly, quarterly or yearly terms, away from the home repair flow.

How the build ran, 4 weeks in all
-
Strategy & Price Structure 1 week
Worked through which jobs could carry a published starting price and which honestly could not, then mapped the seven trades into the service page structure.
-
Design 1 week
Developed the dark navy and amber system in Archivo, the rate card treatment, the accreditation band and the WhatsApp-first enquiry card.
-
Build & SEO 1.5 weeks
Built the 77 pages on Astro, implemented HomeAndConstructionBusiness and FAQPage schema, and set up internal linking between the trade hubs and their service pages.
-
Tracking & Launch 0.5 weeks
Wired GA4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, tested every WhatsApp and call route on mobile, and deployed to Vercel.
