Interior Design Website Design in Singapore
Interior design firms have the opposite problem to most of my clients. They are not short of beautiful content. They have hundreds of completed homes photographed properly, and almost all of it is buried behind a gallery grid that nobody scrolls to the bottom of.
I rebuilt MET Interior twice. The first time was after another agency left them with a site that undermined the work. The second time, two years later, was because the business had outgrown what we built: 500 completed homes in one flat gallery, and every cost question their buyers ask being answered on a competitor’s blog.

What an interior design website has to do
Let people filter by their own home
Nobody browses interior design work in general. They arrive knowing they have a 4-room BTO, or a landed A&A, or a condo they want done in Japandi. If they cannot filter to that in one click, the project that would have won the enquiry stays three scroll-loads down.
Own the cost questions
The first thing a Singapore homeowner types is a price. What A&A work costs. What a BTO renovation runs to. What carpentry should be per foot. A firm with 500 completed projects knows those numbers better than anyone, and if it does not publish them the searcher meets a competitor instead.
Catch BTO buyers a year early
Someone collecting keys in June 2026 starts looking for a designer in 2025, and they search the BTO by name. A page per upcoming project is the highest-intent page an interior design firm can have, and almost nobody builds them.
Carry photography without getting slow
This is the one sector where image weight genuinely decides the outcome. A portfolio site that takes eight seconds to show its first photograph has already lost to the firm whose page loaded.
How I build interior design sites
- 1
Every project gets its own page
MET Interior runs 75 project pages, each with its own URL, photography and address, filterable by property type and by 21 design styles. A homeowner searching a style or a block number lands directly on the relevant work instead of the top of a gallery.
- 2
Publish the pricing knowledge as its own section
Landed and A&A renovation costs, condo design costs, BTO cost and timeline, permit and defect-check guides, plus a renovation cost calculator in the main navigation. It turns a portfolio site into somewhere people arrive months before they are ready to enquire.
- 3
Build a landing page per upcoming BTO
Twelve of them for MET, each with its TOP date, nearest MRT and neighbourhood context, so the firm is visible at the exact moment a buyer knows their project name and nothing else.
- 4
Static rendering, so the photography stays fast
MET moved off WordPress onto Astro precisely because every page-builder section was carrying more script than the content inside it. 176 pages that stay fast beats 20 pages that do not.

Every project on this page was handled by me personally, from the first conversation to launch. You are not briefing an account manager and then being handed to someone else. That is also why the portfolio is deliberately specific: I would rather show you the 2 projects I have genuinely done in your sector than claim expertise in twenty.
How I report results
- Real projects, live URLs. Every case study links to the site itself, so you can check the work rather than take my word for it.
- Figures come from the client or the build. Page counts and structure are countable from the site. Traffic and lead figures are only shown where the client shared them.
- No invented testimonials. Quotes are shown only where a client actually gave one, which is why some case studies here have none.
- Prices are current and public. The figures quoted in the questions below match the published packages, not a number invented for this page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an interior design website cost in Singapore?
The number of projects you want to publish is the main driver. A firm showcasing 10 to 20 projects fits the One Week Website at SGD 3,500. A full portfolio with per-project pages, style and property filtering, cost guides and BTO landing pages is a bespoke build from SGD 4,500. MET Interior, at 176 pages, took six weeks.
Should my interior design site be on WordPress?
Not necessarily, and MET Interior is the case in point. WordPress is fine until the portfolio and the guide library grow, at which point the page builder starts costing you load time on exactly the image-heavy pages that need to be fast. I build on Astro and give you a CMS for the parts you actually edit.
Can you migrate our existing projects across?
Yes. I migrated 75 project pages off WordPress for MET Interior and mapped the old URLs across so nothing that was ranking got dropped. Migration is a normal part of the job, not an add-on.
Do you write the renovation cost guides too?
I structure them and write them with you, because the numbers have to come from your actual projects to be worth anything. The research and the writing are included in a bespoke build. What I cannot do is invent Singapore renovation figures, and you would not want a site that did.
Choosing a web designer for an interior design firm
Singapore has a lot of interior design firms and a lot of very similar interior design websites. Full-bleed hero photograph, a gallery, an About page, a contact form. They are pleasant and they are interchangeable, which means the homeowner comparing five of them ends up choosing on price.
The firms that break out of that comparison do it by being useful before they are impressive. They answer the cost question the buyer actually typed, they have a page waiting for the specific BTO the buyer is moving into, and they let someone filter straight to a home that looks like theirs. That is not a design problem, it is a structure and content problem, and it is very fixable.
If your portfolio is stronger than your website makes it look, that is the most common version of this and the most straightforward to fix. Have a look at the MET Interior case study, then get in touch.
